Cookie Policy

How Paftalk uses cookies, local storage, and technical storage on the site and in the app.

Son güncelleme / Last updated: March 02, 2026

01.Local Storage Technologies We Use

As Paftalk is a mobile application, it does not use traditional browser cookies. This policy explains local storage, secure storage, and tracking technologies that serve similar purposes.

02.Essential Storage (Cannot Be Disabled)

AsyncStorage (React Native): Session token, theme preference, language preference, and offline data queue
Expo SecureStore: Encrypted (AES-256) storage of authentication tokens on the device
Application cache: Temporary image and file cache for performance improvement

03.Performance and Technical Logs

These items are essential for the Application's core functions and cannot be disabled:

Authentication session (Supabase JWT): Keeps you logged in across sessions
Theme preference (paftalk_theme): Remembers your chosen light/dark/system theme
Language preference (paftalk_language): Remembers your chosen TR/EN language setting
Offline queue: Temporarily stores data entered when there is no internet connection
Onboarding status (paftalk_onboarding_done): Records whether the introduction flow has been completed

04.Third-Party SDKs and Storage

At the moment, the app does not use a separate third-party product analytics SDK. Limited technical logs may still exist for debugging, security, and service continuity:

Technical logs are limited to debugging, security, and service continuity purposes.
Direct identifiers are kept out of this scope as much as reasonably possible.
These records are not sold to third parties and are not used for advertising.

For questions about technical logs or data practices, please write to destek@paftalk.com.tr.

05.Storage Durations

Integrated third-party services have their own storage mechanisms:

Supabase: Manages database sessions and authentication tokens. Policy: supabase.com/privacy
Google Gemini AI: Temporarily processes data during voice command handling; does not store permanently. Policy: ai.google.dev/terms
RevenueCat: Tracks subscription status and purchase history. Policy: revenuecat.com/privacy
Expo / React Native: Stores device push notification token. Policy: expo.dev/privacy

06.Clearing Local Storage

Session token: Deleted when you sign out or when the token expires
Theme and language preference: Retained until you change them or uninstall the Application
Offline queue: Automatically cleared after successful synchronisation
Onboarding status: Retained while the account remains active
Cache files: Cleared when the OS faces memory pressure or when the Application is uninstalled

07.Language Preference Storage

You can clear local data on your device using the following methods:

Uninstalling the Application: Deletes all local data (your cloud data in Supabase is not affected)
Android: Settings → Apps → Paftalk → Clear Storage
iOS: Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Paftalk → Delete App

Clearing essential storage items signs you out and resets preferences. Your portfolio, customer, and financial data stored in the cloud (Supabase) is not affected.

08.Policy Changes

The language preference stored in AsyncStorage under the key "paftalk_language" remains local to your device and is not sent to our servers. This data is deleted when the Application is uninstalled.
